Six months ago, we announced details of our newest initiative at Bridge Classic Cars, to inspire the next generation of car lovers. Bridge Classic Cars Kids was born.
We introduced the world to Rilee and The Story of Rilee, a charming tale told for children. At the heart of the story is Rilee, a 1905 vintage car beautifully restored having been stored away for many many years.
Through the love and care given to him by the wonderfully talented technicians, Rilee is now able to run comfortably in the modern world.
Along with his friends Luxy and Eco, Rilee’s adventures help young readers discover the value of preserving history, the excitement of innovation, and the importance of believing in yourself, no matter how old or different you may feel.
Like all great ideas, once the ball starts to roll it carries on and Rilee started to gain some momentum.
We received calls and emails from some amazing brands within the automotive world who had seen our initiative and we received some really positive feedback.
We recognised how powerful stories can be for children so we launched Bridge Classic Cars Kids, a dedicated online space full of educational and interactive content about the automotive world. Our new dedicated Kid’s webpage and YouTube channel was launched and continues to grow day by day.
We want to help children explore the wonders of our history, learn in interesting ways about innovation and engineering.
Having discussed our ideas with specialists and publishers who understand the world of children’s story telling, what you see below is three stories. The Story of Rilee; The Little Burgundy Car has been developed and fine tuned into what we would consider is ‘Bookshop Ready’. This is an extremely exciting time for us and from releasing our first video some six months ago, to what we have on the table in front of us right now is amazing. We look forward to what the future has in store…
