The car was shipped new to a lady Professor in Alabama, and it stayed with her until she and the car expired around 1980.
About 2010 it was returned to the U.K. by Tom Wilkes, the then Chief Body Shop Engineer at P&A Woods for a 5 year meticulous personal renovation.

We have re-balanced the carbs, fitted new spark plugs and run a compression test. the results showed a jetting problem in the 3rd carburettor. Now having worked to resolve the problem the car is running beautifully and able to return home.
