1997 Mercedes 280SL

Appraisal time on our 1997 Mercedes 280SL. First things first, check over and carry out a good road test. We’ve checked the roof operation and lubricated all hinges and pivot points. Get on ramp and continue the appraisal. This includes Remove all wheels.

Check brakes and clean hub centres. The handbrake required a little adjustment. Refit wheels and lube hub centres. Check and inflate tyres. Torque wheels.

We start to sort the connections to the nearside repeater light. Fit new bulb to nearside front indictator.

Check offside front fog light. The bulb is ok but we have no power to light. Work to be continued…
