1987 Mercedes 500 SL Boot Panel

Jonn fitted the panel in the boot of our 1987 Mercedes 500 SL to conceal the fuel tank.

As the bolts wouldn’t start, he tapped out all the holes to ensure proper fitment and cut several bolts down to the correct length before securing the panel in place.

He then refitted the nearside door window channel. Attention was also given to the grille, which he located, dismantled, and then thoroughly cleaned and polished the chrome components.
