We need to look into the cause of a blown fuse and replace the part.
It was the ignition feed where the fuse had blown was so no indicators, fuel or temperature gauge in operation.
We have found a wire under the column that had been disconnected so we reconnected and now it works.
The next job is to find why we have no overdrive, which involved getting the car up on the ramp. A terminal had come off so we crimped on a new one before securing better. Strangley, as soon as we operated the overdrive a fuse blew so back to the workshop to replace.
Overdrive working now and fuse still intact.
Final job before Gordon can take the car away to enjoy…fitting the new spax shocks and heater valve.
