This is a great opportunity for someone to own an original, Right Hand Drive, 1973, Series 3, V12, Jaguar E-Type 2+2.
The car is being repatriated from the north of Scotland to our workshops in Ipswich.
The car has been a part of a private collection, has been used for shows and pleasure whilst the owner waited for his XK150 to be returned from the restorers.
We do not propose to do any unnecessary restoration works, but to leave the new owner to decide how far they would like to go in its future development.
From factory it was painted in “heather”.
This shade was not to everybody’s taste and many were repainted, as this was, into a deep Claret but she still has her cerise leather that has worn gracefully but certainly has the correct patina.
The total respray was of an excellent quality and is now ageing tastefully, she has a few rust bubbles and could be locally improved.
The extensive history file has over £17000 of expenditure, Jaguar Heritage certificate, old MOTs and Tax disks and makes great bedtime reading.
This lovely car is begging to be taken to the next level, and can be very easily and without great expense.
Taken to the next level the car could easily be worth in the region of £60K.
