Andrew and Ady have been hard at work this morning fitting the engine and gearbox into our E Type Racecar. Having reached another one of this build’s big milestones, we’re all the more excited to see this lovely machine back. E-Type’s have a wide variety of prop shaft lengths. We’re now looking to source the correct one for our engine and gearbox.
We recently visited the Ox Pasture Hall Hotel in Scarborough. On a recent vehicle transportation trip, we stumbled upon this hidden gem. Genuinely one the best hotels we’ve stayed at in recent memory, we would like to thank the Hotel Staff for such a wonderful experience. We will certainly be back the next time we’re visiting the North York Moores.
The dash has been dismantled and is now being sandblasted. Once sandblasted, it will be ready to be repainted and then reinstalled back onto the MG A during the interior refit stage.
Our friends at Suffolk Vehicle Enthusiasts Club, or SVEC for short, have very kindly accepted our invitation to come to our open morning. We will host the event between 9.00am and 12.00pm at our hangar showroom, located within RAF Bentwaters.
For more information, or if you are interested in attending the event we welcome you to email Freddie@BridgeClassicCars.co.uk
We’ve had news from our American imported E-Type. The Jaguar is approaching Barcelona on its long trip from California to Felixstowe.
The vehicle is expected to arrive early in the new year. Once it lands on British soil, it’s only a 20 minute drive down the road to Felixstowe. From there, the E-Type will be taken into our workshop where work can commence.
