Fitting up the fuel filler cover

Dave’s been busy working on the rear end of our E-Type getting ready for the fuel tank to be fitted into position.

The fuel filler cover has also been re-attached too!

Rebuilding the International Brakes

This is not one of our regular restoration projects. Instead, we have a beautiful truck that has battled the Suffolk weather for many years and survived.

The truck is lovely as it is. Not only is it a very rare piece but it is unique and it is certainly a head turner. Any major works  to the truck would most certainly affect the look and character.

The woodwork around the rear has been removed so that we can strip back and re-varnish.

The brakes have also been stripped back and rebuilt.

Day trip to London for the Maserati

The sun is shining as we load our Maserati up for a trip to London.

Let’s just hope the weather stays bright as we take to the streets of London for a test drive.

Mr Paget – Chichester, West Sussex

“Top guys. Lovely workshop and some very worthy projects and a team with superb restoration skills. I was absolutely spoilt with time and effort from the team. Thanks to all!”

Concept: Jaguar E-Type Sofa and Drinks Display

Whilst having a coffee in the office, looking out of the window at our 1967 Jaguar E-Type body shell, an idea popped into my head.

Could we make a sofa out of a Jaguar E-Type?

I’m no Picasso but here is the first draft of what I had in mind when I come up with my idea.

A Chesterfield style sofa built out of the rear of the car with the boot area being a drinks display that opens like a normal car would. We would have all of the exterior furniture you would normally find on the E-Type including the wheels and tyres!
